This article intends to make the list of entire Hindu scriptures and their brief information in one post. Sruti (श्रुति, heard) and Smriti (स्मृति, remembered) are the general classification of the ancient Hindu texts. Following the the list of scriptures related to Hinduism.

Vedas (वेद)

Rigveda (ऋग्वेद) [1500-1200 BCE] * The most important Hindu scripture
Samaveda (सामवेदः) [1700 BCE]
Yajurveda (यजुर्वेदः) [1200-1000 BCE]
Atharvaveda (अथर्ववेदः) [1500-1000 BCE]

Divisions of Vedas :-

Samhita (संहिता) : methodical collection 
Brahmana (ब्राह्मणम्) : explanation of vadic rituals
Aranyaka (आरण्यक) : about ritual sacrifice
Upasana (उपासना) : focus of worship
Upanishads (उपनिषदः) : religious philosophy
*Rig vedic upanishads: Aitareya, Kaushitaki
*Sama vedic upanishads: Chandogya, Kena
*Yajur vedic upanishads: Brihadaranyaka, Isha, Taittiriya, Katha, Shvetashvatara, Maitri

Dhanurveda (Archery) : associated with the Rigveda
Sthapatyaveda (Architecture) : associated with the Yajurveda.
Gandharvaveda (Music and dance): associated with the Samaveda
Ayurveda (Medicine): associated with the Atharvaveda 

Natya Shastra (नाट्य शास्त्र) [200 BCE-200 CE] : about classical dance, theater and music
