1934 Jan 9: birth of Rudane.  

1964: elected Pradhanpanch in Daman village, Makwanpur. 

1965-1967: arrested and jailed for crime against government. 

1968: married to Uma Shah. 

1971: elected in Rastriya panchayat election. 

1973: Rudane initiated Thaha campaign in Makwanpur. 

1981 May: Elected member of Rastriya Panchayat.

1985 May: Elected member of Rastriya Panchayat.

1986: arrested for publishing poem 'Hosiyar'.

1990: Article 16 of the now-defunct 'Constitution of Nepal, 1990' gave a fundamental right of RTI (सूचनाको हक) for the first time in South Asia. Which was adopted in later constitutions (2007 and 2015) as well. 

1991: lost in 1991 general election.

1999 June 21: death of Rudane in Bir hospital. 

2014 May 8: Nepal Government named a local municipality located in  Makwanpur district as Thaha Municipality.

2018: Nepali movie named "Rudane" based on Thaha movement and life of Rudane released. 

2025: Nepali novel named 'Rudane' by Tank Chaulagain published.
